Hey, what's going on? I'm getting spam in my comments section. How is that even possible? Did I just reach some sort of reader threshold, and the autospam kicks in?

Weird.

It's relatively easy to delete them, but still....

There's a way to cut back on spam comments. You can enable the word verification feature. You'll have to do this separately for each blog you use, but it really does help.

STEP BY STEP:
=---=---=---=---=

When you first sign in to your account, you should be on the 'Dashboard' page, which lists all the blogs you have. Click on 'Settings' (you know, where it says 'Manage: Posts, Settings, Layout').

Now, somewhere near the top, if you look at all the options presented, you should see a tab labeled 'Comments'. Choose that.

The feature you want is near the bottom, and is labeled 'Show word verification for comments?'.

Just choose 'Yes', click 'Save Settings' down at the bottom of the page, and you're done! Hope this helps!
