17 months later I have my first "I've got nothing but I'm going to post anyway."

But, hey, I posted 3 times yesterday.

Jon (Hack Bend) is in his fifth year of blogging, or something outrageous like that. He's a pioneer....no, more than that, he's a Mountain Man. I tell him he should be wearing buckskins and carrying a musket.

Need to get out and start gardening. Damn, I'm lazy.

Way back when I got married in 1995, we set up the Altacam.com site. I put an old VHS cam hooked up to a Mac AV660 in the dining room of the Rustler Lodge, set to dial up every two minutes with a new jpg for the website. We also set up the "Daily Diary", with notes from the hill-was it good, did it suck, equipment features, etc. Very much a blog, although no one had ever heard of the term back then. Some local people thought we were nuts, but it was me so they "understood".

Funny thing was we have people from all over the world visit us, and even move there to ski Alta/Snowbird, just because of that webcam and blog.

As you have found out, the reach of this Internet thingy goes much farther than you can even imagine :)

If it took you this long to run out of things to write / blog about, you're doing good. Great, even. It's hard to keep up the kind of writing pace you've managed.
