Silly season.

Nike drops Armstrong.  Why do I think they hung with him as long as there was "plausable deniability?"  Not terribly admirable.

**********

I'll be voting against the Grange.  As anyone who reads this blog knows, I'm not a big fan of gambling.  I think it takes advantage of the less ... wary (is the way I'll put it -- to be kind.)

**********

Every spare moment I've got, I'm spending on writing.

So what does Hollywood do?  Put out a bunch of good movies.  What does T.V. do?  Premiere their best shows.

Oh, well.  I can always get to them later.

**********

Just seem more absentminded.  Made a big order yesterday and forgot to click the final button.  Arrggh.

**********

So Romney's son says he'd like to slug Obama.  Hey, it's just silly nonsense.  I hate the way the liberal press is following the example of the conservative press and promoting these things to WWIII status.

**********

I'm going to do chapter summaries on index cards and move them around.

I know -- high tech.

I gamble very rarely, but I don't think it's fair to penalize the great majority of gamblers who do so responsibly because a minority of gamblers can't control their habit. The analogy with alcohol prohibition is obvious.

It's an age thing.

yeah the son comment is stupid and doesn't need to be headline material, however, if he's saying it, he most likely got that mindset from his dad. And that's a mentality you don't need for leadership position. Might does not make right.

One of these days I'm going to buy you a copy of Scrivener. There's a learning curve, but I think software like this might actually help you get over the second draft hump.

I think I mentioned before, once you finish writing the book, the real work begins.

Depends on where you are downtown, and when. My kids and I were walking to Bend Burger Co. last night and remarked upon the stench from a passing cigarette. Smoking is a scourge and nonsmokers shouldn't have to be subjected to others' slo-mo suicide.
