The article in the Bulletin on found items in books: The Bookmark looks terrific in the pictures! How can you not want to visit that store? I really like the way Linda has arranged the store.
The funniest thing I ever found in a book was a pornographic letter some guy wrote to his girlfriend.
I found it disgusting. Every time I read it!

Years ago my grandmother died, and left 1,000's of books, they were all 'readers-digest' but I didn't want them, my sister was executor of the estate, a younger sister.
She said "Granny has money in those books, ...I know", so I asked why not open them all and look for the money? To which she replied I have never open a book in my life and I'm not going to start now. Most of my family is such a mind about 'books'.
I don't know where those books are now, ... probably still in storage as they have 'cash' tidied away, ... but they sure as hell didn't want me to get those books, but they didn't understand that they were just 1,000's of readers-digest to them all books were the same.
I think a writer could write some strange things about people such as these, ... needless to say I don't have much to do with my family. I think this attitude towards book is quite common.
With regards to hiding shit in books, ... I think that keeping guns and gold in hollowed out books is an excellent prospect given the fact that the stupid and lazy are afraid to touch a book.
Lastly I can say that that all the guns and gold I have stored in books has never been lost, ... unlike other hiding places.
