Tuesday tids.

Because the first two movies we watched on Netflix were Centurion and The Black Death, they seemed to decide that we liked "violent British movies."

Heh.

I had also checked out about five minutes of Hard Days Night, to listen to some tunes, so I don't know how that fit in.

The last two movies we watched were "Hot Tub Time-Machine" and "Secretariat."

Let them try to figure that out.

**********

When I was helping my son Todd weed his garden, he mentioned that he was more interested in the "architecture" of the garden than the plants. Which is the exact phrase I always use.

An article in the Bulletin today mentions a Master Gardener who know the names of every plant.

I think my Mom was a blend of both; eventually, the plants became part of the architecture.

**********

I don't usually comment on political columns, but I think "Obama's Original Sin," by Frank Rich in The New York Magazine is right on. The subtitle says it pretty well:

"The President's failure to demand a reckoning from the moneyed interests who brought the economy down has cursed his first term..."

Don't get me wrong, I won't vote for any Republican I can see on the horizon -- but I really wish he had taken the bull by the horns.

The only reason I will vote again for Obama is for his Supreme Court appointments. The majority of his policies I completely disagree with. Most importantly his foreign policy (i.e. continued Middle East occupation).

All that being said, the entire West Coast is blue so no chance Obama will lose any of those electoral votes.

These 'money interests' put OREO in power, could have there been any other result?
This is the definition of insanity, to always have the same bankers's pay off both party's in a two party system, and expect different results
A laugh that not voting PUG will bring change, ... change will only come if BLOOD is removed from the VOTING SYSTEM, but that cannot happen because BLOOD(money), is the life-force of the USA, and its foundation.
Everything is FINE, USA was NEVER a democracy, always a 'constitutional federalist nation', e.g., a nation controlled by monied interests.
To add insult to injury OREO even kept on BERNANKE&GEITHNER, pawns that enabled the racket in the first place.
Like MENCKEN said the diff between PUG&DEM is the DIFF between WOLF&FOX, both will strip meat from the bone, the fox is only more cunning, the wolf more blazen.

'west coast is blue', ... not so sure, the seaboards are blue, but the economy on both are in toilet, only midwest is thriving,

hungry losers on the seaboard, will look for fault for their life failings, and blame any party that they're told, ...

I really expect PALIN or equiv to rally the LOSERS, and bring 'soft fascism' to full fruition. The idea that the seaboards are 'blue' is simply because 'blue' people live on the DOLE, but when the DOLE end's then they'll start thinking more like PUG's.

I think CHURCHILL said it best, "If you not liberal under 40, you not have heart, if your not conservative after 40 you not have brain", the mid-west have always had brain, and grown food, ... the seaboards have had a plethora of 'defense spending' ( DOLE ) now for 60+ years, that is coming to and end. There will be reverse migration to the conservative homelands.

The PUG's are SHEEPLE, led by the likes of LIMBAUGH by the rich, but the 'BLUE' dog dem's are largely school teachers and union folk who live at the GUBMINT pig trough ( WINNERS ), and the LOSERS are of course the Limbaugh listeners, but they are the majority of the MASS of USA,

Now there will be fewer blue dog pig trough feeders on the west coast in the future, and thus their vote will be meaningless. Just watch them lose their jobs in CALI to see the future.
