Downtown comings and goings, updated.

The new store across the street with a doggie theme is called Dog Patch.

I need to sell them a Li'll Abner graphic novel...

A business opening on Brooks called Wabi Sabi, which is a Japanese equivelent term to fung shui, I guess. This may or may not be the new anime/manga store I've been hearing rumors about.

The space next to Home Hardware looks like it might be another home decor type place, by the owner of the building. Periwinkle Part Four? Still a bit of a rumor.

Finally, from the Downtowners newsletter: "The Frugal Boutique is tucked inside the Bend Trade Center which is also home to Bond Street Barber Shop and Glenroe Antiques. The Frugal Boutique & Consignment offers an eclectic selection of quality, new and gently used clothing and accessories economically priced."

Another others?

The financial place on the SW corner of Oregon and Bond is gone. Was it Chase?

To make this of further historical value, it would be interesting to add the address, opening date and closing date of each establishment. Then at any time in the future we could see who had been at a location and when and for how long. :)

Thanks, Dave.

You can extrapolate the opening and closing of any business, I guess, once I started putting in dates.

For instance, I have the Luxe closing date, and if I had started earlier with the dates, I would've had their opening date.

So eventually....

Addresses? Maybe I'll go as far as Street Name, if that will help. I'm most worried about missing something. I still see the occasional business that I ask myself it is new, or just one that was around before I started the list and didn't notice.
