I'm reading HADRIAN, by Anthony Everitt, a biography of the Roman emperor.
Why?
I don't know. I should be reading something more useful like the stack of comics that I've fallen behind on.

I haven't filled out the (legally required) Census form the feds sent me.

I seem to have gotten noticed by the feds, because suddenly I'm on a couple of these monitoring type reviews. Dammit. After being blissfully ignored for 28 years.

I found a company that will clean out Dad's room and give the fixtures and other things to charities for a fee.
The type of thing that the younger and broke-er me would have done myself to save money and then have probably had a garage sale to raise money.
But Time is Money.

They only give you 10 articles a month for free. If you read on the Internet. Otherwise I'd read more. At least you should read Krugman. I feel that he's the only one that actually knows what's going on (or at least willing to tell it like it is).

I love people who expect to get good journalism for free and then complain about the scarcity of good journalism.
HADRIAN.
So far, not so much. He's doing mostly guessing up to this point in Hadrian's career. (Young Roman officer). Obviously, very few sources, beyond the general.
It's interesting to me, because it's just a hundred years after the events of the founding of the empire, where I've read most of my history about Rome.
Now it's too late to vote.
