Tamper proof?

Whoever the Tylenol tamperers of the '70's were, they deserve to rot in the deepest corners of hell. Not just because they murdered people, but because of what must be billions of dollars and billions of man-hours spent wrestling with uncooperative 'tamper proof' packaging over the last 30 years.

It would seem to me one of the area's, like current airport security, where our cultural 'risk' analysis has gone completely haywired. There is something flawed, and faulty, about our overwhelming response.

I also predict sometime in the next ten years or so, a looming confrontation between aging baby-boomers and the bulky, maddening packaging that we have to fight with.
