So the concepts of time -- different. Sleep, dreams, calendars, clocks, day, night, years, weeks, months -- all different. It's quite the challenge. There is so much we take for granted: "I'll see you tomorrow.", "good night", "give me five minutes." "next year." "I'm 55 years old." All different or not applicable in such a world.<br /><br />Other aspects I've found are hard are metrics, that is, measurements. Yards, meters, steps? Miles, furlongs, klicks? Inches, fingers, centimeters?<br /><br />So I commiserate with your world building of fantasy and how you can simply go off in left field and create. But it's also confining.
